Conference Abstract Book
Systemic methods (FRAM, STAMP, AcciMap) in modern food supply chains 7 th International Conference on Food Science and Technology, Athens, 8-9 th November 2025 Traditional analyses neglect that incidents arise from the complex interactions among people, processes, technology, the environment, and leadership. Systemic methods are suitable for the modern food supply chains : • Analyze incidents as part of an interconnected socio-technical system rather than isolated “human errors.” • Demonstrate that failures emerge when multiple, interdependent factors align in ways that bypass controls and barriers.
