LSS tools/ practices  Statistical process control tools can be more than useful for the Critical Control Point (CCP) controls (Psomas, 2018, Veseli, 2024)  Value stream map (VSM) used to identify operations most at risk of cross contamination (Cabrera, 2020), more than useful for risk analysis of a HACCP plan  Top management commitment and involvement, understanding customers’ voice, total productive maintenance, continuous improvement and value perfection, just-in-time production and delivery by the company, providing feedback to suppliers and work standardization, mostly used by ISO 22000 certified companies (Psomas, 2018, Psomas, 2024)  Pull scheduling seems not to be widely used (Psomas, 2018, Psomas, 2023), whereas in a feed producing, HACCP implementing company pull production was achieved due VSM/ Define Measure Analyse Improve Control (DMAIC) methodology (Trubetskaya, 2022)  Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) methodology resulted in total changeover time reduction, without compromising food safety (Garcia -Garcia, 2022)  According to Budianto (2023) the selection of proper LSS tools will help the manager to evaluate the effectiveness of LSS tools in synergy with FSMS
