Conclusions & Takeaways Take away message: The addition of appropriate plant by products in animal feed can significantly affect animal performance, with grape skin emerging as the optimal option for improving broilers growth, gut health and meat composition and organoleptic quality. The low value and high availability of grape skin in Mediterranean countries like Greece makes it an ideal and viable solution for improving productivity in poultry farming while reducing food waste.
