Benefits of synergy  Companies that adopt LSS can implement more rigorous controls, resulting in safer, higher-quality products (Telenchana, 2024)  The procedure followed in FSMS for hazard elimination or restriction can be also used for waste and losses restriction (Dora, 2015)  For example, the measurement and control of a characteristic dictated by the internal procedures of FSMS, e.g. water activity of coca filling was also important for waste generation (Besseris, 2014)  According to Bravo- Paliz, 2022, LSS tools can collaborate and also be used as proof for FSMS (BRC, British Retail Consortium) requirements and as a result less effort and less resource are needed by the company  Satolo (2017) pointed that the implementation of LSS can minimize the burden of health and safety surveillance
